You don’t have to sacrifice the relationship to raise your daughter “right.”

Clear the Lens is a quick, powerful workshop for mothers who are tired of the constant negativity, blow-ups, nagging, and worrying consuming their relationship with their daughters and are wanting to shift the dynamic quickly.

Maybe this is you….

  • You're constantly irritated by how much she is on her phone. You have to keep on her about her homework. About her room. About her attitude. Even about basic hygiene!

  • You are tired of repeating yourself, tired of having to be the ‘nag.’ Tired of feeling disrespected and wondering why kids these days don’t have any motivation.

  • Negativity is starting to consume the relationship where you don’t even feel like you “like” your daughter anymore and you also feel certain she doesn’t really like you either (which hurts more than you want to admit).

  • You also feel awful when things blow up, when you say mean things to her, and your heart is hurting from the disconnection.

  • This is not the person you set out to be as a mother but you just feel so frustrated and angry all the time.

  • You want to influence her in a positive way, to raise her ‘right’ but you don’t want this to come at the cost of your relationship.

  • And it’s confusing because she also needs guard rails…and a parent who holds boundaries….so how on earth can you be both?

Hi, I’m Trish -

I am a licensed therapist and mother-daughter relationship expert with 16+ years of experience helping mothers and daughters heal and strengthen their relationship.

I didn’t grow up feeling close to my own mother, so becoming the mother I wanted to be has been deeply personal work.

After years of counseling and coaching mothers and daughters, I know exactly what daughters need from us to feel seen, safe, understood, and connected. As a very imperfect mother myself, I also know how much self-awareness it takes to manage our own “stuff,” our own fears, and expectations, while still preparing our daughter’s for life.

I created Clear the Lens to help you do exactly that—so you can see your daughter more clearly and become the mother you most want to be - impactful, influential, and loving.

As mothers, we have this idea that we can’t be “best friends” with our daughters because we have to be her “parent.”

I call bullsh*t on this.

Because this belief sets us up to think that both things can’t be possible.

That we can’t be an authority with our daughter and still be in relationship with our daughter.

That we can’t hold necessary boundaries or have expectations of our daughter without still caring deeply about her feelings and needs.

That we have to sacrifice the nurture part of our relationship if we expect our daughter to grow and develop responsibility for herself.

No wonder we are confused about what “our role” is in relationship with her.

Are we “raising a daughter” or “building a relationship”?

Are we setting her up for success in the future or meeting her where she is right now?

Clear the Lens helps to answer this question.

I help you recognize how fear, judgment, and future-tripping are shaping the way you see and respond to your daughter.

I help you stop parenting from the future you’re afraid of and instead start seeing your daughter for who she actually is right now, in front of you.

And I help you start prioritizing the one thing that is going to give you the most influence and impact in your daughter’s life: the relationship.
