Hi, I’m Trish.

And I know all about wanting to do this right.

Wanting to do right by her. My first born.

And also, her. My second born. Because the universe sent me two.

As a therapist for the last 12+ years, working primarily with women and mother/daughter relationships, I know how important it is to us that we have strong relationships with our daughters - and how impacted we are by our relationships to our mothers.

I did not have a close relationship with my mother growing up. Though I loved my mother intensely when I was a child, we ended up estranged for 30 years. I want to help mothers and daughters avoid this kind of pain and to recover from the rifts that arise in their relationship.

I have been amazed - time and again - at the incredible shifts that can occur in a mother/daughter dynamic in a short amount of time just by both women having the necessary conversations that open their hearts to each other.

If you are a mother of a young daughter - I see you. I know how much you want to resource her, guide her, and protect her. To give her a non-negotiable sense of her self-worth. To give her the reassurance and internal strength that will help her through difficult times.

I do not believe that our relationship in the teenage years have to be strained or distant. And I believe we absolutely can have a strong and positive influence on our girls without lecturing them. I am certain there is a way to maintain a strong relationship with our daughter through all the robust growth periods of her life and I am inspired to teach you how.
